About Jackie

Jackie Martinez is a costume designer with 15 years of industry experience, crafting visually compelling, story-driven designs for film, television, and theater. As an Assistant Costume Designer, she has worked on high-profile productions for major studios and streaming platforms, including WANDAVISION and THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER for Disney+, BARRY  for HBO, and FOR ALL MANKIND for Apple TV+. Most recently, she served as Assistant Costume Designer on Taylor Sheridan’s LAWMAN: BASS REEVES, bringing historical authenticity and depth to the Paramount+ western drama. Her extensive work as a Journeyman Costumer with IATSE Local 705 includes contributions to blockbuster films and television projects such as AMERICAN SNIPER, WHEN WE RISE (ABC), GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2, AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR and the highly anticipated Season 2 of FALLOUT.

In addition to her contributions to major productions, Jackie is also an accomplished costume designer in her own right and a proud member of Local 892, the Costume Designers Guild. She designed the horror feature WE GO ON, now streaming on AMC’s Shudder, starring Annette O’Toole and John Glover of Smallville fame. She also created the striking steampunk-inspired costumes for THE WORLD OF STEAM, an acclaimed web series that was recently submitted to the Tribeca Film Festival. Her theater work includes TOP SECRET, a stage production that toured China with LA Theatre Works, and the celebrated musical SPRING AWAKENING at UCLA Theatre. Her designs have also been internationally recognized, including a showcase at the 2011 Prague Quadrennial for her work on ELECTRICIDAD.

In addition to her work in film and theater, Jackie has also designed for emerging digital platforms, adapting to fast-paced productions that rely on strong visual storytelling. Whether building stylized fantasy worlds or crafting authentic period pieces, her designs enhance character and narrative across every medium.

Jackie earned her MFA in Costume Design at UCLA, where she refined her detail-driven approach to world-building through costume. With her breadth of experience across genres, mediums, and production scales, she continues to bring narrative depth and visual storytelling to every project she takes on.
